How to give someone access to your WordPress website

This is a short guide with 5 steps on how to give anyone access to your WordPress Website. Be very careful with who you give this to as they will have full control to make any changes they want.

1. Log into your WordPress website

Go to your website domain into Google and add /wp-admin/ to the end of it.

Then type in your name and password to access your WordPress Dashboard.

2. Navigate to the Users section

Navigate down the sidebar to the Users tab

3. Add a new User

Click on “Add New User” at the top of the page to create a new account

Create the new user you want to give access to

4. Fill in the details

Next, add all user details such as email, name and password.

Be sure to make a strong password and note that the Username cannot be changed.

5. Give the account Administrator permissions

Finally select the dropdown menu as the bottom labelled as “Role” and select the “Administrator” option. This will enable all permissions
